HL2 - Heh was pretty fun but i hated the steam loading, unlocking, and of course, the stuttering. Those didn't stop me from beating the game in 4 days... 😛
WoW<--not really down with the monthly fee thing. Well once i realized 15 bucks is like two meals outside the house, i decided why not. i go to 1 less movie a month, and go out to eat one less time a month, and i've actually ended up saving money. The game itself definatley has charm, and i'm enjoying some of the endgame. I admit though : this has taken over a larger chunk of my time then i'd prefer. I'm not sure i could enjoy this just casually playing like i did with the next thing i'm going to say..
Rome: total war - Not sure if you are into the RTS thing at all, but i enjoyed this title and perhaps it's worth checking out.
Far Cry - came with my graphics card... haven't played it yet >< i have seen a couple buddies playing it and it looks wonderful, love that lush environment. When i get my 20in widescreeen lcd, i might pick it up for the eyecandy, and to play over the summer when i'm bored. but unfortunatley i bought WoW and it is a cruel unforgiving mistress. It doesn't like when i cheat on it with other games...
Doom 3 - this title i didn't enjoy so much. Gamplay just wasn't there for me, though i did think it looked amazing and that it definatley is something. I'm not sure i would pick this title up though given the choice again
