Wall mounting my 30" apple right underneath my 45" sharp aquos

but I need a desk so my tower can sit underneath and so I can wire everything without sloppiness.

Does anyone have a good computer desk to suggest that is rather wide but not too long? And is rather stout in height but has a thing to hold my tower etc? I was thinking hte LIAN LI desk but it seems rather big

thx

One display on top of the other? Are your viewing angles going to be strange?

Are you planning on watching the displays from different locations or having them move? Is this what the vesa arm was for?

Isn't the 45 a little too big to be sitting that close? Got a pic of your current setup?

...wow...

lian li makes desks!? just go get a desk from wal-mart! this isnt going to give you 2 more FPS, and all that matters is the chair... a desk just holds up the keyboard!

Yeah, i think Anandtech has the Lian Li desk reviewed... it looks stupid (and much too expensive) imo.

Yeah, the Lian Li just looks like something you get if you want to throw money away ( which actually seems to be your style, Broly ;) )

id still totally prefer...

- a whole new extra top of the line computer?
- a half-deacent car to rally race in the woods until you crash it and laugh?
- $2500?

Just messing with you.

I wish I had about $10k to spend on all this sort of stuff like you seem to have.

I'm just concerned about your plan with a display above you 30".

Can you back up enough so that you'd be able to view the upper display comfortably.

The best display in the world can be irritating if you don't do a good job setting it up. I imagine my front projection screen is probably a similar height for where a display would end up above a 30" LCD. I have to be about 10 feet in away from it to have it be at a comfortable height sitting in a semi-reclined position on a futon.

Do you have the displays yet? I don't remember.

ohhh I don't care about seeing my aquos while i'm on my PC
it's more Feng shui so i can like stream things to my tv without the reluctance of revealing wires

I'd love to see your setup, got pics?

Lian-Li desk is nice for its price.

I've found myself in a similar situation too! To resolve it, I found it necessary to make modifications to gain more surface area.
My computer setup runs about 12' wide to handle my triple monitor for my video rig, plus my dual Linux on single LCD. Sometimes one has to engineer something to make do. My Graphic machine is set in a plywood enclosure designed especially for it with its wide format scanner and printer.
I can't envision how your setup will be. If you could send me a drawing of your setup, it sounds like maybe we can come up with a better mouse trap. Otherwise you can pretty much buy that Lian-Li desk, your choice.
