need a new cologne

looking for a new cologne, not too sure what to get. everytime i take a girl to look for one, they all like different scents, so i gave up going that route.

i used to wear aqua di gio pretty regularly, and i really liked that scent. just want something new.

and for what it's worth, my sense of smell is shit due to messed up allergies and sinuses, so i have a very hard time telling how similar scents may be different.

what do you all wear?
 
i used to wear polo sport by ralph lauren. but i switched to pleasures for men by estee lauder when my wife told me that was her favorite.
 
Personally I go for spicey smelling colognes like Gucci II for men. I don't like the soap smelling ones. If you want to be safe pick something that is lemon-y.

I wear aqua di gio and polo black. Gotten plenty of compliments from females for both. I've also heard a lot of women mention a&f fierce
 
A special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
 
Depends on what you are looking for.
I like the following for different events

For formal events I tend to roll withe (green) Polo. It is bold and I wouldn't recommend it for daily use.

For more "sporty" events I tend to choose Acqua di Gioia or Hugo Boss.

And for every day use I would highly recommend Burberry Brit.

New Marc Ecko one is fantastic, might be better than Issey Miyake which ladies looooooooove. Ralph Lauren's Silver Romance is another outstanding one. Ecko is my new favorite though and I have about 15 different bottles.

I rarely use the stuff, but when I do I use Body by YSL:
