My old computer chair just broke. I am looking for a new computer chair either leather or fabric with a high back and arm rests. Can anyone recommend a specific chair or a place with good deals to buy one?

This is where you post hot deals - not where you whine about needing a hot deal. Go to FS/FT.

Check out the Hot Deals forum and read to see if anyone posts a deal about a chair.

If you have a Office Max near you give them a shot, a buddy of mine picked up a $150.00 chair on clearance for 30 bucks. He said they had a boatload of 'em.
So, I guess this can be considered a deal.😉

If you're looking for a good computer chair, this is one you have to look into

Good luck. Lots of office supply stores advertise chair sales, but how many of them are good, comfortable chairs and not moolaka that will fall apart after a couple months? A year and a half ago I bought a $70 chair from Sam's Club (made in China special) and it has turned out to be a POS. The chair cushioning itself is OK, but the frame is just garbage and has fallen apart.

Hmm....not really a hot deal I thought if I checked out the thread I would be getting a link to a nice new chair.

I bought a cloth covered (tweed?), Lane branded office chair from Costco last year. I'm sure it was made in China. It's pretty damn heavy (it even surprised the moving men), and it's held up perfectly. In fact, I can't tell it's been used at all.

I'm over 200lbs, I'm in it for at least two hours a day, I roll it around the room while sitting in it, and I tend to just fall into it as I sit down.

It was more like $90, I think. Maybe it was $100. It was worth it, and I'd buy another if this one holds up for four more years... which I expect it will.

I got one from Sam's about a year and a half ago, from Basset Furniture.

$120, best chair I have ever owned(I'm a big guy, a lot of chairs don't usually stand up to me for long)
Nice leather, cushion, all metal, very sturdy.

So I say either check Sam's or a Basset Furniture store near you =p

I too am looking for a decent chair will have to checkout local OM tomorrow. PS Chairs for $100+ are a dime a dozen not a hot deal plus the membership fees for a club +$50 more to the totals. The staples $47 chair is a nice deal but out of stock for me.
