i'm looking to buy a new case and my budget is $100. i would like a case that looks good because to me, that's very important, and i would also like the case to have good cooling capabilities for overclocking components. what do u think would be the best case for this for $100?

What looks "good to you?"

Do you like flashy cases with side windows, or a sleek "professional" look? Do you have a ton of hard drives to cram in it, or a large graphics card?

Do you like huge cases (full tower), "average" cases (mid tower), or tiny cases (slim, microATX)?

Finally, are there any other special requirements, such as low noise, high air flow, or space for water cooling?

The more information you give, the better chance you have of someone suggesting something that will work for you.

Here's a couple of quick suggestions:

i like flashy cases that have side windows, led lights, etc. but not too extremely flashy. i only have one hard drive and my graphics card is actually quite small. but later i do plan on getting an ati radeon hd 4850 but they are not too big. and the only special requirement i need is good air flow. thanks for the help guys.

Antec 1200 is slightly large for the type of stuff you're throwing in there. I would consider a much smaller approach in the form of a Cooler Master Centurion 5 with a window.

I've had the Thermaltake Tsunami for three years now, and it's been great. Good cooling and easy to work with. I used it for my first build, and it went smoothly. For my next build, I plan on going with the Antec 900. A lot of people have one, but it's a tried-and-true case. Don't think you could go wrong there.

I agree. I think the Antec 900 would be a good coice for you. It is flashy and has great cooling, plus a side window. A very highly rated case on Newegg.

I am considering the Antec 300 or 900 for the next upgrade for my gaming rig. I personnaly like the Antec 300 because it is a little more conservative, which is how my personal tastes run.

Aw, man, you just added a hundred bucks to my next PC build 😉

Sweet case, though.
