Well thanks for your help. So I guess I now have to choose between the cm-690, the lian li pc-k7b, or the antec p182. All have their plusses and minuses.

Yup, generally there is no "One Perfect" of anything in the real world. Doesn't it suck being human?

That's why me & you are still case hunting!

I've been hot for the Temjin 5 for a good while, so maybe the Kublai 3 will be close enough. At least for a while... 😉 Anyway, I'm going to try to convince myself of it.

do you have a dual card? can you post a pic of it installed? Oh.. and anyone know where there are any deals on the cm 690?

Microcenter currently has it for 19.99 after rebate. If you don't live near a store I am not sure how much shipping adds to the price.

Unfortunately no microcenters near me. $78 with shipping. though when you add in the MIR it becomes $48. I never count MIR in the price though.

I don't mind rebates but to each his own.

However, the rebate is $40. $78-$40=$38.

he was including shipping. 78+10-40=48 😉

It is $59.99 before rebate + $18 shipping for him? - $40 rebate. Don't know where you are getting ten more dollars from.

Xarick, if you're interested in the 690, both me & Zepper have one.
His has the 3 stock fans & the pcb issue fixed.
Mine has the 3 stock fans + the four 140mm fans & the 80x15mm fan. I'll even throw in a Sunbeam rheostat w/mine.
PM if interested.

Why?

I'm not trying to start a Tt flamefest or anything. I just think there are lot of better options for the price.

The armorplus is OK if you have one of those new, wide mobos. Other than that, way excessive. I guess I shouldn't talk, I've got a case coming that is a lot larger than I need, but not that much larger... 😉

I just rebuilt my computer with a Lian-Li PC-V600B http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811112056 and I absolutely LOVE the case, unfortunately dust may be an issue w/ it, I don't know I just built it but it has a ton of airflow. I used to use the cases you lined religiously in all my builds but I am switching to Lian-Li hands down. If you need something larger, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811112062 but it is a bit out of your price range.

Get the Lian Li if you are leaning towards it, you will not be disappointed.
