Hey guys,
Im getting my 2007 Rig on the drawing board and need some advice on my new case.
I got most my internals ready to go, unfortunately (well actually *fortunately*) it includes the 8800 GTS.
Ive been hearing its a large card so I will need a Large Case.
I am currently using a TT Tsunami ( I like the size and style) and would get another but I really dont think the 8800 will fit in it as my 6800GT Ultra is a tight fit.
Anyway here are my internals for critique:
OCZ Game eXStream 700 watt PSU
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR 680i
Intel Core Duo 6600
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB
8800 GTS

Now which case?!
I am really liking the Antec P180 reviews say its quiet and over all a really nice case.
The TT Shark seems like it *may* work.
I like my drives to the side and I like quiet with good cable management.
I hear the Antec P190 will be out shortly with 1200 watts of power utilizing 2 PSUs. But details are still sketchy.
I also dont want a LARGE case like my TT Xaser, freaking huge (about 22 inches long) and very heavy.

Anyway hope you guys got some ideas, or if someone is already using a 8800 in the P180.

Thanks!

I just got done assembling a new system with somewhat similar specs. I opted to spend more and go with the Lian Li PC-A10B. Quiet and cool with excellent reviews. At first the price seemed ridiculous, but the more I read, the more sold I was. The new Silverstone TJ-09 is also very nice.

I've heard more good than bad about the P180.

Wow that Lian Li is slick! And it has doors for the External Bays!
Your right the price is scary though maybe a tad long.
That Silverstone is also nice but its about as long as my Xaser case.

I think Im going to look into that Lian Li a little more see if I can persuade myself.
Did your PSU cables reach everything?
Is that Side fan in the way of the graphics card?

I took the side fan out of the case because I have a gigantic CPU cooler and it was a little tight. My graphics card (7950 GT) fits. I'm not sure about the newer 8800s, but the case is made with SLI in mind.

Here's a good review.

You could also look into the Lian Li G70 or the V1000. Both are great cases.
