Question need a motherboard for 5950x. psu fried my board

looking at this as it seems to have everything needed. has wifi optical audio usb c 2 nvme wifi

not sure why it has 5 pcie slots and how many can be used?

how does this board look? $100. around the price I paid for my gigabyte b550m aorus elite but much more features

That's an alright motherboard but if you're gonna use a 5950X cpu, i'd recommend a little beefier board.

thanks, but I just bought the 5950x and Im looking between the cushions for dimes and quarters to get a gpu. 3080 or 3090.

and now this motherboard expense came out of nowhere. so thats all I can do and it will have to do. and I think it should be fine. asus was on my black list of brands to not buy again as I had a bad experience with their old rog MB striker II formula failing exactly a week after warrnaty and all the scamming they do with warranty issues saying it was damaged. I saw the GN video. but no choice. from her it jumps $30+ for other boards and not much features there vs this.

scunbag seller sold me a defective psu and thats my fault. I should have known better. cpu/ram gpu buy used fine. but power source should be new imo or used from someone you know who is reliable and is for sure good

the store that checked it said it smells like its burnt (I thought it smelled like mildew) but stank and it probably was used for mining. live and learn. at least my mb was a low level junk b500m that only cost $110
