Need a little help with some algebra...

I have to solve for x in the equation below:

(a^n)x = (a^3n)

i put the parenthesis in there to make it a bit easier for people to read.

1)it is a very easy problem
2) what have you tried
3)where are you gettign stuck
4)posting the answer might seem like it will help since you will be like "oh, okay, that was easy" but your brain will not gain any new pathways since you will not have struggled and learned something, but rather, simply, recognized it,

i know, but i got it figured out. i was thinking it had something to do with getting the n out of the exponent. i was getting stuck with diving both sides by a^n
