Need a little help deciding between cars

I know there's been a ton of car threads lately, i've been checkin em out myself, so i'll try to keep this short. I know many ATers have some uh, hostality towards those who have parents buy them cars, but my parents do have money, along with the money i've earned from working, and I can afford a compact or midsized sedan. We were originally looking at the accords, because there's a lot of deals going on right now and their value holds up a lot, but my neighbor and my friend got their accords jacked in less then a one month span and that's kinda turned off my parents towards them, especially after I told them I planned on modifying the accords to make them a little more attractive (not totally riced out, just drop it, add some tint, probably change a couple of the lights, etc.) I've been looking at the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, which I can get for invoice through a dealer connection. Coincedentially my family also has a Infiniti connection, which adds the G20 into the mix. The G20's pretty but everyone tells me the performance is crap. So basically i'm trying to decide between

A 02 Accord Coupe or Sedan, V6 EX (although it's an automatic so i'm kinda shady about that)
02 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V (6 speed manual, 175hp 180torque, under 19k loaded with leather)
02 Infiniti G20
any other recommendations? Some of my friends tried to push a used BMW 3-series on me, but my parents don't really like buying used cars, and they are biased towards asian cars. I'm mainly looking for any car, not truck/suv, under 25k, which offers best performance and value. Preferably a stick, but it doesn't have to be

I'd take an Accord with a 4-cyl and manual transmission, not the quickest, but its decently powered, decent room, nice resale value.

WARNING: Nissan fans incomming.

If you can wait until September, '03 Accord w/ 200+ HP V6 and 6 speed. If you can't, I'd go with an Accord EX 4-cyl and 5 speed.

<-- Loves his 91 Accord like no other.

but the '03 accord is fugly...

you can probably get a max SE for under 25K (well under 25K, even after taxes) with a stick. thing moves.

I think it's funny that you put "Accord Sedan" on there, and then complain about it being an Automatic. As if it sucks that you'd get your high performance commuter sedan without a high performance transmission. It's a lot like "I can't decied between a dodge caravan and a Toyota Sienna. They're both autos, and I don't want to drive an auto, sticks are more fun. Are there any 5 speed minivans?"

Anyway, they all sound pretty equally average to me. There's nothing really exciting about a honda accord or Nissan Sentra, either one would be fine I guess. I don't know much about the Infiniti.

We don't know that for a fact yet.

i'm sure you can get that spec v a lot cheaper... i got mine, fully loaded for under 18k.

i'm a little biased toward that car, i also really like the g20.

even with the 200hp v6, the accord is still a dog.
