Need a Legit Win 7 Home Iso.

My GF gave me her old macbook to keep. OSX sucks, I need to Install Windows on it. I bought a Win 7 Home Premium CD-Key from craigslist, CD was not included. Need a Legit ISO that I can install onto a USB stick because the 'Super Drive' is dead. The last 2 ISOs I downloaded and scanned had huge amounts of viruses and malware.

If you bought a key without the media from a random person on Craigslist, it's VERY possible that you don't have a legitimate key...

Having said that, most ISO images you can find through torrent sites will have viruses and other security exploits in them. Not just Windows 7. Your best bet would be to find someone that has the actual install DVD and borrow it temporarily to copy to your USB drive and install Windows on the Macbook.

Alot of buy technet (back in the day) and sold the key - i would call microsoft and verify the key is valid - if not - you should report the seller as the microsoft police are VERY interested in busting these folks that are illegally selling keys.

Anyways i told you where to get a legit iso - digitalriver is the source and it is not illegal since they key is what makes it work.

It's legit. Called MS and Changed license on my 7 desktop with it.(Unfortunately I do not have the CD for it either).

Also, a good tip is to look around for what the legit checksums are for the iso files. And then just check the checksum for whatever ISO you download. If they are the same, then you don't need to worry about anything non-legit in it

USB tool if you have access to another windows computer. Dunno what tools you'd use on osx. Maybe just dd from the command line.
