Need a laptop for about $1000.( 1200-1300 CND)

- CD + DVD-RW
- 512 Meg of ram
- wireless lan
- 40 gig hd ( speed not important
- Nvidia video card ,128 meg if possible, 64 meg if impossible ( looking for the performance of a ti 4600/ radeon 9600 aprox for some little gaming).I do not want those Intel extreme graphci card.Could use a radeon too as card too if its impossible to get nvidia
- Processor not really important ( but would love to not have a celeron )

Any recommandation???

Dell 6000D with an X300 Radeon would be a good entry level gaming laptop. The holy grail right now is any laptop with a GeForce 6800 in it, like the Dell 9300 or the Dell XPS2.

HP ZV6000-series will get you ARSELOADS more than that for $700. And a massive heap of features at the $1000 price-point.
