I would like to buy a LAPTOP with a min 15 inch screen, 1gb ram, min 60 gb hd

I am looking at DELL but should I also be checking out the BIG BOX stores

My son says ACER is trash, but is it, I dont know.

Any feedback appreciated.

Oh..general use, no gaming (except poker)
