I am sitting here watching Castaway (TNT) and a commercial saying the CIA is hiring comes on :Q Evidently there must have been some budget cutbacks to be advertising at 12:30 am. 😛

 Duh! They've used that money to catch bin laden!

Unless you get recruited or have a masters degree then don't bother dreaming about it. Maybe as a secretary....

What's starting pay? $45k?

Thanks, but NO THANKS.

Goverment pension though I hear those are pretty good.
Government pensions aren't as good as they used to be. Neither is health care. They are slightly better than Social Security and Medicare though.

Also, there is a viable career plan in government service. You have plenty of opportunities to move to other places and your job is a little more stable than in the private sector. Also, it's a good job if you want to continue your education, they will work out a schedule for you so you can go to school, and they are liberal about paying for it.

You won't hit the jackpot, but if you are looking for relative stability, it's worth considering.

My thoughts exactly. I've been thinking about it for quite some time, now. Howver, the low starting pay and living in DC rules them out for me.

Were you going for the undercover position of a page for a Republican Senator?

In the next few years there will be a large number of federal employees that will be retiring as well. Makes for good upward mobility.

The cost of living in DC is very high I heard, is it not? I know the crime rate per capita rivals that Detroit.

I was watching castaway last night. I forgot how much I liked that movie. Something about good acting, and a lot less dialogue makes it appealing to me. I could sit there and watch Tom catch crabs and make fire all day.

I did not like the first time time I watched it but it is a favorite now

I've seen CIA booths at a number of career fairs catering to the aerospace industry and/or people with security clearances.

To zdravstvulte!

It renewed good friends of all!

I think rabotayushch for CIA it must be very glamorous work. You cannot make that much, but view on the automobiles, expensive which they obtain, both the computers and the telephones of cell also.

Films I think they represent it exaggerated in the the kinoikh, but still, a certain truth there must be and to be spy it must be very intensive and dramatically. If you have a number for CIA therefore, then I can present my cv, I would be which very happy. I know that my English it is not is not very good, but I will be very critical and sneaky by persona - they like that I think.

Thanks are still for any aid! I love the posting place, motionlessly, approved!
