take a mediterranean cruise. turkey to spain with stops in between. you can even add days before or after if you want to stay at the terminal ports.
That sounds like a lot of fun. You know of any operators?

i did a search on the website we used to book our honeymoon cruise(7-night caribbean):

Don't go to Morocco. It might be nice to take a tour through there for a day or two, but I wouldn't spend any significant time there. Not only are there tons of thieves and people there looking to rob you, but the food is less than stellar, bottled water only, and you don't really want to shower there either. It isn't like I was in the sticks either, I was in Tangier, so I'd imagine rural areas would be even WORSE. I was staying a nice hotel too. Morocco is nice for one visit, but stick to Spain and Portugal if you are on that side of the wordl.

After much deliberation, the fiancee and I have settled on a caribbean cruise. We mulled over going to Europe, South America, or someplace even more exotic, but then decided that after all of the wedding planning what we want is 100% relaxation and no thoughts whatsoever about sightseeing and trying to fit everything in b/c we may never be back.

YMMV.

Looks right up my alley (I am an avid diver). Not sure if it is what she would want... Still, I am going to run it by her...

yeah, I'm a diver as well, taking all my gear down cause I don't want to spend even more money renting their equipment. She's not a diver though thats what I was debating about, but I figured I can group up with someone on the boat. From what I hear the location to where all the dives were are great, less than 15 minute boat ride to all the great dive spots.

Theres a ton a stuff to do for non divers as well. Plus the Honeymooners get a free upgrades, Taken right off their site:
- Special check in at guest service desk
- Flower arrangement in room upon arrival
- Breakfast in bed (one day of stay, to be arranged with guest services)
- Special recognition/announcement for couple during show by activities staff
- Massage discount (10%)
- Complimentary room upgrades (best available room at time of check-in (not included Royal Club categories))

cuba. its dirt cheap to go there too.
Can Americans go there and spend dollars yet?

I'm sure they'll take your dollars, but you still can't go there. They actually check ingress stamps now, too, so don't bother trying to enter from another country - you'll get a fine when they spot the Cuba stamp in your passport coming back home. :|

this is exactly why we did the caribbean cruise as well. we even took the week before the cruise to just relax with relatives.

it was great.
