Can anyone recommend a place to go in June that meets the following criteria:

luxury accomodations
lots of nightlife
chance to kick back and do nothing
available activities such as sightseeing, fishing, SCUBA, etc...
no rigid schedules
unique local culture

We have been throwing around Greece or Portugal, but I am looking for inspiration...

edit : no far east, no USA, no Africa

just find a hotel and stay there for a few days. See how much time you can actually spend w/ each other before getting mad. :)

We went to Jamaica and stayed at a place on the hillside called The Enchanted Garden. Lots to do both at the resort and in ocho Rios (scuba and snorkel in CRYSTAL clear waters!) The Enchanted Garden resort was beautiful with all kinds of tropical vegitation and waterfalls running through the grounds.

The BEST part was the all-inclusive price (food & drinks!!!!!!!) I don't know if they offer that anymore (we went in '95) but it was FANTASTIC.

That sounds like a lot of fun. You know of any operators?

Sandals is probably the premier Honeymoon resort. The resorts are couples only (no kids anywhere) and all inclusive. I'm doing my honeymoon on the adventure of the seas (Royal Carribean Cruises) for 10 days in the southern carribean.

Sandals look very nice, but how do you decide which one to go to?
