Need a heatsink/fan setup for Athlon 1.3GHz...

I've got an old Athlon Thunderbird 1.3GHz setup (with Asus A7M266 mobo). I bought it with a generic cyclone-type heatsink/fan, and it's been working OK for the past 2+ years, although it tends to run quite a bit on the warm side (55-58 degrees idle, 62-65 under load during the summer). Some days, when the ambient temperature got especially hot, I even had to underclock to 1.0GHz to lower temp. (yes, I know, how's that for sad).

I'd like to replace the generic HSF with something better. Could you guys recommend a good, solid (and quiet) HSF? I'm not going to OC the CPU, so I don't need the latest and greatest HSF. I plan on using Arctic Silver III with it, too.

The Zalman CNPS3100 has been great and very quiet for me on my Athlon 1.2GHz

I have sk6+ with some mid-low end 60mm fan. It keeps my 1@1.3ghz tbird cool at 37C idle and 45C load.

Out of all the HSFs I've tried, I've liked my Zalman best for cooling AND quiet.

Thanks to some recent research on these forums, I just installed one. I replaced an old retail HSF from a 700Mhz duron on my Athlon 1.2 and went from 51-52C to 34-35C. I also installed round IDE cables and reduced voltage by .05v, but the majority of the credit belong to this excellent, quiet, cheap HSF.
