Need a heatsink/fan for Phenom II 940

I have GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H with Phenom II 940 and a Xigmatek Dark Night cooler. It works great, except that for the AM2+ socket, the retention mechanism forces the cooler to have a fan pointing up, thus the wide part of the heatsink overhangs the 2 closest ram slots. I would like to upgrade to 8GB, thus needing those 2 ram slots. Which heatsink has comparable cooling but would fit without blocking the ram slots?

You basically have the same config I do. Same mobo, processor and cooler. The Xigmatek is a sweet cooler, but yeah it blocks the ram. I'd be interested to see what people can suggest, I might be in the same boat in 6 months.

The tuniq tower allows you to point the fan any direction you want and the narrowest side allows for exhaust to the rear on my MB. It may lose out to some of the newer units out there now but it's been damn good for me.

I believe those sold in the last 18 months or so come with the am2 clip. In fact I'm looking for such a clip for 2 of my older Tuniqs but so far I've had no luck.
