Need a handheld/PDA

I need to find a handheld device that would connect via IP and 802.11g to a video server to watch feeds from various security cameras. It'd be best if it supported some sort of security/encryption, even WEP would be better than nothing. It doesn't need to be super high-res, as these will just be camera feeds. A Windows-based operating system would be cool too, but Linux would work also.

I bet I can get away with spending up to $1000 per unit, but I will have to justify the costs so I can't just go fancy for the fun of it.

Anybody have any recommendations???

Thanks!

I don't have any pesonal experience with this, but I know a few people who are looking into something similar. One solution is a Windows Mobile 5 cellular phone like the Treo 750 or Blackjack. Since they have the mobile version of IE and Windows MediaPlayer you could go to a website and view data over 802.11 or over the data from your cellular provider. Both these phones should do 3G speeds (check you area for 3G), which benchmarks in the real world to 700-900 kbps.
Someone in my family is setting up a home alarm/video system and intends to video and hear the video from anywhere in the world over their Windows Mobile 5 cellular phone.
And the device can be used as a phone, email and/or music player.
