Need a great PCIecpress video card for under 250.

What pci express video card would your recommend for under 250?
I am looking at the geforce 6600gt, or a radeon x700 pro.

looking at benchmarks and technology, a 6600gt is a better choice. or with some more $$, u can get a 256mb 6800nu pcie

The 6600GT is pretty good for the money.

I actually have a spare, unused 6600GT PCI Express I got from Newegg on accident a week ago. I thought it was an AGP card until I opened the box and realized my mistake. Newegg wants to charge me a 15% restocking fee, so I'm probably either going to sell it on eBay for what I paid for it: $190. i have an x700pro. if you look around on ebay and such they tend to be about $30 less than a 6600gt. i'd still recommend the gt though, the x700pro is as fast to a bit faster on some games., but in certain games the 6600gt basically blows it out of the water.

im still praying for an ATI driver update that fixes that.

if you can get 300 dollars a X800XL will be 2x faster then the 6600gt
