I've been hosting my site with yahoo's crappy ultra-limited possibilities hosting service and am looking for more.
I'd like to find 100mb of storage, i need to be able to run my own mail server, have ftp access, i'll need mysql and php as well any ideas?
Hopefully not too expensive, it'll be a low traffic site.

I went with Ripplehost for 100 meg of storage and 1 gig transfer/month. Its only $5/year (i know it says 10, but they are still running the promotion).

You get pretty much all you want and even a bit more and their bandwidth seems fairly reliable.

  • 5 ftp accounts
  • 5 mysql databases
  • 5 e-mail accounts
  • Auto Responders
  • Mail forwarding
  • Web based e-mail
  • Mail blockers
  • Web based statistics
  • Password protected directories
  • Front page extensions 2002
  • CGI Support
  • PHP Support
  • MySQL Support
  • Server Side Includes
  • PhpMyAdmin
