I've been pulling my hair out looking for a good shopping cart / invoicing solution, but the two combined don't seem to exist.
1. I want customers to be able to go to my website and order, pay, and enter in their order info without having to call me. A traditional shopping cart ala Amazon is best for this. - I currently use Magento, but it doesn't invoice, much less send reminder emails on unpaid invoices.
2. I also want to be able to invoice customers who call me directly to place an order with me. And I want the software to automatically send reminder emails to people who haven't paid. - Freshbooks is good at this.
3. I want to have the flexibility to easily add custom surcharges and products to an order "oh, you also want 20 kittens with that order? Ok, I'll throw some in for an extra $52.87" - I think Freshbooks does this easily but Magento does not.
Unfortunately I need all 3. Got any ideas?
