need a good digital camera

I was thinking about purchasing the Nikon CoolPix 850.

Any suggestion on a very good digital camera that won't brake the bank? 🙂

Invest the extra $100 for Coolpix 950. You'll won't regret it. It has a rotating lens/flash and has a metal casing instead of the plastic casing the 850 has.

JGDRN, without knowing more of what you'll be using the camera for, what quality you're expecting, size constrictions, ect., it's hard to give much advice.

Take a long hard look at the Olympus C3030. Lots of nice features and a compact size. NECX has some good reviews of various cameras including those mentioned and the Olympus C-3030.
