Ok, I manage a computer related forum. And we have ranking just like AT but they are computer related rankings...

here are the ranks..

eMachine 0-49 posts
Retail PC 50-249 posts
Home-Brewed PC 250-499 posts
Gaming Rig 500-999 posts
Dream Machine 1000+ posts
Deep Blue Moderator
HAL Administrator

We want a new one for 5000 posts. It will be server related but that's all I know. Does any of you ATers have any suggestions? Thanks......



 
Who reached 5000?, and who are you? How are the boards doing? I'm looking forward to coming back when I get back from vacation.

Here is my vote... SGI Origin or Oracle Server

I would also suggest "Beowulf cluster".

1. It's generally better than a Dream Machine
2. It's usually not as powerful as Deep Blue
3. They are often made out of otherwise useless comps like 486's. Since anyone with 5000 posts mustt be guilty of at least some neffing, it makes perfect sense. 🙂
