Anybody know of a good PCI soundcard , I need one for my mother in laws PC . Id like a little warranty too . Any help would be great ......

Im looking CHEAP 🙂
Its going into a old IBM Aptiva system , a M-30
The sound card it has is crapola and includes a nifty 28.8 modem .
I put in a 56k modem so no longer do I need the 28.8 and the soundcard portion no longer wants to function . She is gonna replace the PC in the next few months so I was looking at under 20 bucks shipped cheap 😛
 
that's not bad.
there are several sound card manufactures... i can find sound cards for $14 at the local store.. it doesnt have to have 1024 voices and all.. a simple FM chip based sound card will do.. since she is going to replace it.. why spend more than 20..

go for that card.. yamaha does have a good chipset.
