Need a game like Advanced Wars or Ancient Empires

Basically i'm looking for a strategy, turn-based game that plays out on a grid, just like in Advanced Wars.

I have already tried using an emulator and playing advanced wars but didn't like it. I also tried Massive Assault and it's INSANELY difficult (maybe I just suck).
 
Langrisser was an awesome strat game for SNES. Theres full english patches and stuff for it if you look.

Or look for a genisis emu and Warsong.. Which IIRC is Langrisser 🙂
