Need a cover/case for my 13" MacBook Air - Recommendations please

I've been putting my air in my schoolnag, and have been careful to always have it on top, be gentile with it etc, but i really think i need some sort or protection.

I need protection for scratches, and then also from flexing/pressure on the back of the screen (Ive heard its an issue)

I bought a Speck for the 11" MBA that got handed down to my daughter, great case, bought am mCover for the 13" MBA I'm using now, it's definitely cheaper build quality, but essentially a case is sacrificial to me, and for my purposes, the mCover is fine. Would buy another with no hesitation.
 
I use a speck hard case + another case on top. Screen flex and pressure damage hasn't happened since. Previously without the speck hard shell, I had led screen pressure damage twice.
 
judging by reviews from amazon, it seems speck isnt any better than mcover. it says the design of speck is flawed as well. Also someone mentioned the speck cover is so heavy, it causes the screen to fall back. I also saw incipio, which looked like it might be the best of the three.

I dont care about paying more for quality, but if mcover is the same as the rest, i might just get 2 different colors. I've never had such a nice laptop, and really want to keep it in good condition.

And how is clear? Does it get gunked up easily?

how easy is it to have screen damage? I always have my MBA on top in my bag, so havent had any issues yet.
 
pretty sure im gonna go with the black incipio case based on the reviews. Also gonna pick up a clear mcover case, because its only 20 bucks and also has many positive reviews.
 
There are also protective films available for the wristpad & trackpad: (some are films, some are thin microfiber stickers)

So that way you can have exterior protection (shell), keyboard protection (cover), and wrist/trackpad protection (film or fiber). Keeps the machine really nice, especially for resell later. I do this with all of my Mac laptops - they are in mint condition when I sell them to upgrade 😉
 
2 weeks ago I bought Speck See Thru clear hard case for my MBP. It makes MBP feel bit heavy to carry and difficult to fit my sleeve that comes with my AE Campus messenger bag...but it is worth anyway
 
I had a pad and quill cartella on my MBA 11 and loved it but not the style you listed but figured I would mention it.
