Acrylic doesn't keep parts cool at all. As well, it is louder than a standard case.

i put looks really cool in caps cause it looks cool... i left pretty cool un caps cause i ment it keeps it relitively cool... not Acrylic keeps it cool, but i meant that particular case w/ 4 80mm fans keeps it pretty cool...

oh well my point wasnt that it wa loud or not... i mean if your gaming you should have your sound much higher and should be going deaf (ahhhh countless hours of counter strike when nobody is home and the neighbors are complaning) haha! I was just stating that this and many acrylic cases look really cool...

I like my cooler master praetorian, but you said full tower so I'm going to reccommend the CM Stacker if you like well cooled =)

i like the cm stacker too. just don't like the fact you hava to buy all the extras to complete the package. they could have designed it better so you don't need all that extra stuff. i think cooler master are just trying to squeeze more money out of a product. aaaaanyway, i like it because it is btx ready and it is huge.

I've been thinking about one of these. I have never owned anything like this before. my only concern would be keeping the inside clean enough. I would hate friends to come over and make fun of my case

Thermaltake has a definite winnar with the TT Tsunami, best case for the money, looks great, cools great, not too expensive, and almost completely tool-less, can't go wrong with all that.

i have the Tt tsunami w/ window. even if you don't like flash (and i think it is understated myself) you will like how cool it is 2 120mm fans and a 92mm fan on the window blowing directly on the cpu, the front 120mm fan has a filter to keep it relatively clean (though the window fan constantly gets the dusties). i have just added a zalman 7700 hsf (with 120mm fan) and an arctic-cooling silencer4 to my video card and my temps are 34/32c (cpu/mobo) idle 48/35c underload (room temps being in the low 70's f).

i've paired this case with the saitek gamers keyboard with the blue led's and i think it looks pretty cool.

This is one of the one's I am leaning towards. I like the black one with the side window. Linky. These cases do look oh so sweet but doesnt the mesh defeat the purpose of filtering out contaminants (dust, hair) into your pc? THought I would ask.

Strangely, your Linky displays pictures showing whats labeled as an ATX case, yet the case door is on the right side as exhibited by a BTX case. Upon further inspection, clearly it's a BTX design.

the pc-v1000 is all atx, though it's based off the btx design. from my knowledge, it's not btx capable.

This is true from what I understand as well. It does accept ATX motherboard (I honestly don't think BTX will fit correctly), but they did flip them so the PSU could be on the bottom and what not. It also allows the video card to be viewed form the correct side if you have a BFG OC or something with a nice HSF attached. Just more eye candy. Anandtech and THG did an article on these several months ago and they explained in there the reasoning, though I can't exactly remember what it was.

What do you think of this one? Link. I have never messed with water cooling so this maybe interesting. I have owned the Lian-Li pc-65 before so the water unit would be the only new part but it is an interesting twist. I was happy with the pc-65, but to me the Molex connectors they put on the fans where cheap ones. The pins kept pushing out the back, but then again they did work fine the first 15-20 times, maybe I shouldn't have unplugged them so much. Anyone ever used the Koolance system? NoGod I saw you use one with your antec, this is one of their built in models, but it should be similar to yours. How do you like your Koolance unit?

inwin s500 is still the ebst case ever made. for a steel case, the ONLY thing that could be improved is having a removable motherboard tray

Antec 0wnz all. If you're looking for something nice and stable, simple, nothing super fancy but works really well, go for the SLK3700AMB. If you're looking for a kickass-looking and performance case, go with the P-160 or P-160WF.
