Need a C reference book recommendation

Can anyone recommend a C reference manual? I am familiar with only Java, so C is just a bit different with the pointers. It should not be a for "C for dummy" as I think that would be too introductory. It will be used for programming embedded systems.

K&R - the gold standard

Harbison and Steele - another good reference book

K&R really is a good option. There are also useful pointer tutorials online, e.g.: http://pweb.netcom.com/~tjensen/ptr/pointers.htm

And of course, the best library reference is the man pages (If you don't have a linux box: http://www.linuxmanpages.com/), though you probably won't have many libraries available on embedded platforms.
