Need a boot manager for two hard drives

I have a PC with two hard drives.
One is loaded with XP home (NTFS), and the other has Win 98 SE (FAT32).
I need a boot manger that I can add now, with both OSes already loaded.
I wouldn't mind using the one that comes with XP, but I do not know how to add it since the OS is already loaded.

the ultimate goal is to find something that is free!

Any help is appreciated.

Can't you just make a change to your boot.ini and have it point to the 98 installation on the second disk?

I am reluctant to try that. Everything I read says that you should load to win98 drive if you want to use the boot.ini file.
Does anyone know for sure?

Link. Generically said by MS, yes you can. The only difference here is your are modifying the disk number, rather than a partition number as most people do against a single drive multi-booting.

I have read that before, and it talks about loading 98 first, etc. It does not say anything about modifying boot.ini after the OSes are already loaded.

'In general, you should always install the most recent OS last. In this case, you should install Windows 2000 and then install Windows XP.'

'Windows XP must be installed last. Otherwise important files needed for starting Windows XP could be overwritten.'

I am using OSL2000 and it does exactly what I need it to do for now.

Thanx,
Ron

I think the reason behind the 98 first scenario, is on a single disk (typical Dual-boot configuration) the 98 bootloader will overwrite the XP bootloader information. XP(when loaded last) should be able to recognize the 98 installation and make the modification to the boot.ini.

Now on volumes already installed, you just need to go in and make the modifications manually.

Though like you said you found a bootloader that suits your needs, and as it appears to be free it sounds great.
