Hey guys, I need to read a book in Spanish for my high school spanish class. I'm in the 5 Advanced class, which is one below AP spanish. We are required to read a book that is 200-300 pages. Does anyone have any good recomendations? I'm interested in many things. I can't stand books that involve sci-fi though, especially in a different language. Suspense, fiction all that is good. I don't want anything hard either. Thanks in advance!

I second the Gabriel Garcia Marquez recommendation. He is a major author that you should be able to pick up anywhere. His most highly recommended work, IIRC, is called something like 1,000 Years of Solitude. I haven't read that one, as I am acquainted with him through his short stories, like "A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings."

Err, "Cien años de soledad" is much longer than 200 pages :)
