Need a 56K ISP for a few days......can anyone recommend?

Something that doesn't require downloading any programs (ala AOL). Where I can just get an access number, login, and pw. I just need access for a few days and then I'm goign to cancel.

I've seen gas stations and convenience stores offering pre-paid internet service cards. Like $5 gets you 30 minutes of access or something along those lines.

Not cheap, I know, but convenient.

Try talentg. I used to have an account with them until I got DSL a few months ago. It's about $7 a month for unlimited access. They have local access numbers in a lot of states.

Why not netzero? I mean you have a small program that will fit on a disk.

i'm trying to get online with a subnotebook that has no ethernet or external drives. as of now, there's no way i can get data onto the laptop except via 56K modem. since it has windows 98 preinstalled, the USB floppy drive and USB cd-rom i have are useless, as Windows keeps asking for drivers.
