What's a good, quiet 80mm fan to use with a Thermalright AX-7 heat sink? This is going on an OCed Athlon 1800+, so it also has to have some good flow. System and case temps are relatively cool, so airflow in/out of the case is not an issue. I'm running SETI 24/7, so I need something to keep temps reasonable (below 48C).

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it will be "quiet enough" or have "good enough flow," but:

Panaflo M1A 80mm - 32CFM @ 28dBa
Panaflo H1A 80mm - 39.6CFM @ 32dBa

You may need something with bigger "oomph," but this might give you somewhere to start.

I am using the enermax adjustable on my ax-7 which is cooling an 1800+ overclocked t0 2000+. I usually set it about halfway and my temps stay around 40c. If I am doing something cpu intense and i notice the temps beginning to rise, I can bump of the speed to keep my temps stable. Even if I don't , I still only get to about 44c under load. Noise is not an issue with this fan in my opinion.

Get a YS Tech 48.5 cfm 80mm fan it is quiet and moves lots of air. You can get them several places on the net.

YS Tech 48.5 cfm 80mm fan

That thing is rated @ 37dBA! Not even remotely close to the "quiet" zone, and almost 4 times as loud as the Panaflo and Zalman fans mentioned above...
