Need 17" monitor selection help

Whats the difference between the 755DF and 700NF. The NF is a bit more but the difference in price doesn't matter. I'd rather spend a little more for a better monitor. It would be for regular use and 3D gaming. I want a really nice picture and good refresh rates at higher resolutions. Which of these would be better? Or should I just go with someting like a Sony G220? Any other suggestions? I want 17" though.
 
755df 753df? uses shadow mask tube
pro: cheap
con: low refresh, color not as vivid

900NF uses diamondtron tube (a modified version of trinitron by Mitsubishi).
pro: vivid color
con: $$$, there are two damper wires that can be seen with white background
