NEED: 17" LCD monitor...which one?

Hey all,

The budget is $300 and i require a nice LCD for someone. As i do not use LCDs i need your advice on a nice, high quality <$300 LCD that is 17".

The person using this LCD will use it mostly for Email/ web surfing/ java games and the such...so i dont have to worry about the masking qualities of First person shooters (which aren't apparent on the really high end monitors i know)..

so give me some names guys

I wasn't aware of any $300.00 (new) 17" LCD's. In fact you'll need to spend an additional $100 before you even get close to "high quality".
