Do you understand the concept of "aspect ratio?"
Divide 800 by 600. What do you get? 1.33
Divide 1024 by 768 What do you get? 1.33
Divide 1152 by 864 What do you get? 1.33
Divide 1280 by 1024 What do you get? 1.25 OOPS! That's not the proper aspect ratio. Unless, of course, your screen is taller than the average screen, or you squeeze the image in.
Now, divide 1280 by 960 What do you get? 1.33. Ahhhh, so that's why all your jpeg dates look so short and fat, huh?
