Need $1000 TV Recommendation - MUST BE 20" DEEP OR LESS

Due to some design constraints of our house, the only place we have for a TV is a counter that is 20" deep. Rather than modify the counter, I'd rather get a TV that will fit on top of it and look nice. The budget for the TV is $1000, and I'd like to get as big as possible. 52" maybe? HDTV really isn't necissary, because of cost.

I know the depth is gonna be the major constraint, anyone have big, sub-$1000, thin TVs?

If you can find a Microcenter near you that still has one in stock: http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/393118/

Otherwise, Target has the 27" Widescreen Olevia for ~$1000 shipped with the 10% off coupon.

Samsung also has a 42" CRT RPTV; the rebadged Akai branded version is under $1k at CircuitCity.

I like that rebadged Samsung, lots of inches for the price.

Can anyone else find anything to make my decision harder?
