dying is part of learning :)

when you go on the network games you are going to get destroyed

why even play the game when there is no challenge with all these cheats? it doesn't make you a better player.

You die in single-player?!?! No wonder you don't play multiplayer.

Seriously how sad are you?

1. For wanting cheats
2. Especially to use against dumb AI
3. To even think that BF1942 cheats would work

L O S E R !

I hate dogs like you. Why cheat? What possible enjoyment could you have in a game played with cheats? It's like putting on your football kit (after paying for all the equipment) going to the match and saying "I wanna play football. But I don't wanna run just say we won 3-0 and I scored them all" before going home again.

SAD

Dont dictate how someone wants to play their single player game on the machine. The only "L O S E R !" here is you for wasting your time and energy on a pathetic post.

Cheating in singleplayer may be to enable a person to search a map or play through a game taking in the finer aspects of the game.

After completing Star Wars: Republic Commando on the hardest difficulty, I replayed parts with cheats on to see and do some things differently. I could also admire some of the more powerful enemies which could have easily ripped me apart had I taken even 2 seconds out of playing time to watch its animation/graphics.

OP: I want to apologise for some peoples ignorance. Most people buy BF2 for multiplayer purposes and as you can see, some people think Single Player or cheating is sad or stupid.

It doesn't look like there are any inherent cheat codes, I think you best bet is to find someone that may have put a mod out that would allow cheats.

Yeah of course it is...

Arrgh it drives me nuts - as an known gaming addict and an IT guy my phone rings about 20 times a week with friends/relatives wanting help. 2 of those calls will be people wanting help with their system/software etc.
But the other 18 its "Do you have a god mode for Game x" or "Do you know a hack for game Y"

FFS People - You know what I say? Don't buy games - I'll make you a VB application that is a window with one button labelled "Click here 4 Teh W1nzzz L0lz" They click the button and it will be like a fanfare of a thousand trumpets, followed by screens of how uber they are for winning and surely that will satisfy their need for some false sense of accomplishment.

Replies typically consist of "but then I wouldn't see the graphics or the story" at which point I tell them what they are looking for is called a "Film" and comes in a DVD format that doesnt require a £1000 PC to play either!

It's a sad indictment of state of our societies that 'Instant Gratification' overcomes any sense of achievement by hitting a challenge head on and perservering till you succeed. I actually had a nephew ask me (when showing him WoW) "How do I get to the end?" I started explaining about completeing missions and levelling up before he interupted and said "No - what I want to know is how do you go straight to level 60? Where do I find the codes?"

I'm sat there thinking for a while afterwards that it's no wonder games are so dumbed down these days. Developers are forced to abondon great design and providing depth for the sake of the dumbass generation who just want to get to the end so they can l0lzzzz about how they killed the Boss.

holy crap guys, get off you soap boxes! It's not blasphemy, it's a stinkin single player game. Multiplayer cheats I have zero tolerance for, but who cares if he wants to cheat in single player. it would be a good way to learn how to fly at the very least. Give it a rest.

start a lan game and be the only one on it, there that is god mode for you, unless you hit things. if you want to check out a map, do the same thing.

Actually the SP is pretty challenging the AI is crappy but thats what makes them hard. Theres so substance to their behavior so they always know where you are, kinda like medal of honor games. I have gotten sniped many times sprinting across a field not knowing where the heck it came from.

Theres nothing elitist about the whole gaming development process being aimed at the lowest common denominator leading to nothing but pap being spat out by mega-publishers like EA.

Still I am sure you will be happy in 10 years time playing Call of Duty Reloaded 15 Megamix with EVEN SHINIER GRENADES!
