Nedit problem

Hi Guys,

I didn't know where I was supposed to post this as I am new to this site.

I've just install Nedit on Ubuntu 12.04 and trying to copy a column from a file. I am using the Ctrl+leftmouse and drag. However, it looks like Nedit doesn't select the columns I want. Instead, it highlights different columns. Anybody knows a solution to that?

Your help will be highly appreciated!
 
Get Sublime Text... alt-cursor... profit.

Seriously, though, sorry but I have never used nedit.
