Man, I missed this post. 🙁 I'm so sorry. I know what it's like to lose a brother. I am also from chicago, so if you want to have a talk let me know, I'll be there.

losing a loved one is very hard, it doesn't mean much but I know what you're going through and I am terribly sorry for your loss. 🙁
 
i lost my brother a few years ago to cancer, one of the best men i ever knew, and not cuz he was my brother. Brings back alot of tears in my eyes to read thru this but know that in your heart and mind he will never die. Keep him there, always, look to his life for the occasional point of view and "how would he handle this". his spirit will guide you and his love for you and your family will always show itself, whether its in a raindrop or your place of worship. he is there beside you now.

whatever your beliefs are, share with people thoughts good and sad about your brother. let others know that a good man shared his heart with us for a short time, and we are all better for it.
