(NECRO) Finding Dory!

I miss the days when Pixar would focus on new movies, not sequels...

Not unexpected though, we all knew it was coming after Disney bought them.

I never saw nemo so I kept seeing this "news" and thinking Dory the explorer is in the water? Of course then I remembered Dora is spelled a little differant.

I think the character is great and if it was going to be half ass and just there to generate money they would release it to video like they did with the Lion King sequels.

awesome i love finding nemo. i've probably seen it a dozen times. i recently grabbed "nemos reef" on iOS which is an awesome little game where you basically build a reef and mine stuff. neat game.

i also heard this was coming out 2016 so glad to hear it's 2015 instead, although very close to 2016.

Same here. Although I haven't been playing nemos reef lately. The movie was excellant and I've seen it a few dozen times on vacation and sitting at home with my daughter on saturday mornings since there isn't shit on as far as cartoons anymore.

On another note, anyone dislike the nemo ride in Disneyland? It's a cool ride, but way too claustrophobic(?) for me.

I do too, but dammit, the Toy Story sequels were still very good movies. Cars was one of their weakest franchises so I wouldn't expect much from that one. But if the the Monsters, Inc. prequel is pretty good then I won't complain too loudly.

can't believe this is finally coming out in less than a month. my wife and i are going to be seeing this one in the theater. finding nemo is one of my all time favs and i still watch it a few times a year. my son is only 14 months but i've played it for him on our 120" screen and he is in awe of the scenery in that movie. finding nemo is definitely my favorite animated movie of all time. love the score in it as well.

EDIT:

and this isn't a necro, this is relevant because it's coming out next month.
