I have this monitor and use it daily. I think its an excellent value for the most part. Good quality and I'm a aperture grill monitor fan. There are only 2 nitpicks I have with it. First is that if you use the .INF from NEC-Mitsubishi's site, or use the builtin monitor EDID timings, it defaults to 75Hz at 1600x1200, even though the monitor itself is capable of 85Hz at this resolution. To sidestep the monitor timing, you'd have to stick with the Plug n' Play .INF monitor driver or force the refresh rate through a 3rd party util like PowerStrip. 2nd issue I have with the FE1250+ is that its not very friendly towards unconventional resolutions. I tried to create a custom size of 1400x1050 (4:3 aspect ratio) but this monitor just can't handle it, black screens, like higher grade monitors. Other than that I think the FE1250+ is an excellent monitor.
