I plan to purchase this monitor (15" LCD), but wonder whether anyone could tell me whether it's readily wall mountable? This would be a considerable convenience for me, and if it doesn't lend itself to wall mounting, I may opt for the Samsung SyncMaster 151 S instead.

You can definately mount it to your wall. There are four mounting holes in the back that comply to the VESA standard. You can then purchase a wall mount arm and you'll be set.

Thanks for the information.

I assumed it was wall mountable (most 15" LCD monitors seem to be), but figured I'd nail down the details before dropping a few hundred bucks on the item.
 
No problem. The 1550v is a great monitor. I was going to get one, but I got a killer deal on a 760v so I jumped all over it.
 
I'm working off one right now, and <FONT face=Verdana size=1>SPAnDAU is right on target, wall mountable, great screen.</FONT>
