That is what is considered a thread crap. I wanted to make sure that you knew, just in case you forgot. You know, being a senior member and all, sometimes memory comes and goes...

This is THE cheapest price you'll be able to get this 17" Flat Screen Monitor for. No matter what he says, it IS a hot deal.

so you don't want a decent 17" monitor for ~$152 shipped from a reputable source... why bother posting negatively. i don't need this monitor, but that doens't make it a crappy deal...

Try to get the FE700+ if you can--maybe wait for rebates. Late last year I did a Staples/Dell PM/coupon/rebate thing on it and ended up paying $107.59 for it, instead of $198.00. The rebate wasn't mentioned anywhere by Dell or Staples and I just happened to cruise by the NEC site and saw it. The FE700+ is sweet (almost wanted to keep it).

I didn't find the accusyncs horrible, but they are definitely not as good as the FEs. At $152.00 it's not bad, but it's not hot. I'd say it's a warmish deal.

Speaking of thread crapping, isn't the old debate still on as to whether you can crap a hot deals thread. Seems to apply for For sale/trade posts, but I don't get it in this case.

hmm... on any of the NEC monitors I used, never had any problems. If the monitor is what I've seen out of NEC this is not a bad deal at all. Good find

i had my gf pick one up for her folks last week; it's a a pretty nice monitor. deep black colour and very bright. no complaints about it, don't pass this deal up if you're looking for a good deal on a 17" flat screen!

Thanks for another great deal Steve.

How does this compare to the Samsung SyncMaster 753DF?

Anyway, is the cheaper NEC/Mitsubishi 19" flatscreen better than the Samsung i just bought?
I haven't looked at it yet since it's still in the box. (i don't have time to open it 'coz i'm stuck here at the forums. hehe)
