NewEgg has the NEC 3540A DVD Burner for $37.99 ($39.99 shipped) through the end of the weekend.

Don't forget to grab the free Legacy 25-pack DVD spindle. You only pay an additional $2.00 in shipping.

They will charge you $2 extra for shipping the DVD's but still a good deal if they are quality media.

I do have to say that I have this burner and it is excellent.

FYI - I missed the free DVDs when I ordered. So, I sent an email to NewEgg asking if they could send me the DVDs and charge me for shipping. They went ahead and created a new order for free and sent it out.

So, if you missed the free DVD spindle, shoot off an email.

I got two of these from NewEgg, both had problems. Got a Lite-on for a few bucks more and it works perfectly.

:D but we are talking dollars here

I only see the 10-pack DVD in the combo deals. no 25 pack. Did they change it?

I've got 7 of these from NE so far and have 2 more coming. They have all performed flawlessly. Quiet, fast and good burns on a wide variety of media. :p

Also, note that the 10-pack of free Ridata disks has the small 3" 1.46GB mini-DVDs. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your needs.
