NEC 3520a writing DVD+ as DVD-ROM

I know there is plenty of info on this but I need this by tonight so I can make 50 DVD's.
I have finished editting a music festival and I need to burn it on DVD and give them to participants. But here in Romania you never know what junk of a DVD player someone has so I need to make sure it will work on any. I heard DVD-ROM is the way.
I have the NEC 3520a with firmware 1.04 and Nero 6.6.0.8 on aWwindowsXP Pro machine.
What do I have to do to make the Verbatim DVD+ work on any DVD player?
Thnaks in advance!!

Thanks Bozo. Still being new to modifing writers I want to ask something.
All I have to do is flash and it's all set? In the readme section it talks about D+ DL bitsetting but no SL bitsetting. Does that mean than only Dual Layer D+ or than Single Layer D- will not be changed? Sorry if that's a bit silly to ask.
