Yeah...some. Take some fvcking time to investigate before you start bashing people/things you know nothing about.

You're the guy who's cursing over nothing. And, while I'm not certain, I'm pretty confident that I know a whole lot more than yourself.

Maybe you should have researched me before you braved an insult....

Dude, if you knew me, which you don't, you would realize I "curse" all of the time...it isn't meant to be personal. And good job actually adressing what I said...I still suggest you actually read the thread. This isn't some hackjob done by a 13 year old, this is a serious undertaking to create better firmware for the 3520a.

I am equally confident that I know more than you, this being a good example.

Then justify why he should download anonymous firmare before he tries the official NEC versions.

While this review isn't of the newest firmwares, it works.

wow, i cant beleive this OP is bitching about the CDR perfornance or a DVD BURNER!!!!!!!

if you want good CDR performance you get a CDR BURNER!!!!!!

I mean Really!!!! you get a dvd burner for good DVD performance not for how it burns a CDR.

If you want good CDR performance buy a lite-on 52X burner.

you bought a DVD BURNER. get over it.

sorry if i sound like a prick but man..... it's a DVD BURNER !!!!

Man no one even told me that it is such a POS.

I don't want that TDK media, it's useless. It doesn't come with cases. I can't store CDs with no cases. I guess I'll have to eat the restocking or sell it somewhere.

🙁 I am such a moron

It's one of the best out there. Like burning at 32X is that bad? It's just picky about what you feed it. Mine does 40X on Verbatims just fine.

I agree with you somewhat, but it should be used for both cdr and dvd. If he feels it is buring too slow than he may have a minor problem. I think you are being to hard on the OP

Excuse me, but it's a CD-R and DVD-R COMBO burner. I bough this because it ADVERTISED speeds of 48X for burning CD-R's. So far I am having trouble getting my product to do what it has ADVERTISED.

I'm gonna try the new firmwares and if they don't work, I'll eat the restock and get a burner that works as advertised. If this burner isnt suppose to burn CDs then they SHOULD NOT have advertised it as such. It's like ordering a 3 GHZ CPU and getting one that only works at 2.4GHZ. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm also going to try the official firmware first.
