I have tried burning a dvd-data disc onto ridisc 8x DVD-R about 7 times now and each time the burning process has failed, i have been able to complete the process once before but now it just does not seem to work. anyone know why?

if i am going to update the firmware, does it matter if i use the download from another country as there isnt one for the UK?
