NEC 3500A Was DOA

My 3500A was doa. Power plugged in and not even a blink of a light and door will not open. Newegg just gave me an RMA for a 100% refund. Here is my dilema the Sony DRU 710A is on sale here for $99 after rebate. The NEC 3520 A is available at Newegg for 62.99. Will be late next week til piece arrives and with Sony I can pick up local and have done. NEC 3500A does not appear to be available any longer. It is off Neweggs site. Any opinions?
 
Wait for the RMA unit for your 3500 or get the 3520. If you don't trust the NEC because of the DOA, get a Pioneer 108.

If you must buy something that says Sony on it, get one of these 😀
