I have this monitor, and it ROCKS. My only complaint would be the 72Hz limit on 19X14.

Thanks guys, I'm planning on picking it up tomorrow and wanted some extra reassurance.
I was originally looking at Samsung CRT's, but couldn't pass this offer up.

NEC's CRT monitors are very nice. You won't be disappointed. :)

If it's new it's worth it. If it's used or refurb, then no it's not.

I agree with this statement! Don't get ANY monitor refurb, no matter the brand!!!!! I like this monitors capabilities, but even with Naviset, you will spend hours adjusting it!!! This is my only complaint with it...

that is quite a good deal on that monitor if it's new, as it usually costs over $500. (at that price the 2141/2070 model is probably worth the extra $100)

I got a refurb NEC Diamond Pro 2070SB from the NEC-Mitsu refurb site for $300. It's, without a doubt, the best $300 I've ever spent on a piece of computer equipment. Out-of-the-box picture perfect. Dang thing looks brand new.

Well I guess every monitor is different. My NEC took forever to get it right. It is a real pain adjusting it with certain resolutions. Not sure why, but my older monitors never were this difficult to adjust... Hmm... Still a nice one though:)

Heh, haven't really tried adjusting it much yet--waiting to move into my apt. for that!
It actually was used, but I got it for $275 driven [near my home to pick up].
